Bidvest Wits coach Gavin Hunt admits he is bitterly disappointed following his side's 2-0 loss to Orlando Pirates in a MTN8 semifinal, first leg match at Bidvest Stadium on Sunday.
"I am very disappointed," said Hunt.
"The first goal came from a poor corner.
"Just before the second goal we should have equalised to make it 1-1, but then they ran down and scored at the other side.
"We could have played till tomorrow and we wouldn't have scored, the ball just wasn't bouncing for us.
"We just have to try pick up the pieces and go again."
Some sloppy defending allowed Siyabonga Sangweni a free volley at a corner-kick to open the scoring, but besides from the that Hunt was happy with his side's defending.
"I thought we were okay (in defence) and I don't think there were any problems at the back besides the standard situation with the corner and the goal – that was real schoolboy stuff," added Hunt.
"We should have done better."
After conceding two goals at home Hunt is aware that his team are on the back foot when they travel to Orlando Stadium next week for the second leg of the MTN8 semifinal.
"I don't know (how we will bounce back)," continued Hunt.
"We will have a go next week, but obviously right now we are out. We need to try win there.
"We have only scored one goal in four-five games which is a problem."
