Royal AM president Shauwn Mkhize has finally broken her silence on the pending GladAfrica Championship case with Sekhukhune United.
The Durban-based side is currently in a legal battle with Sekhukhune over the promotion to the DStv Premiership, which has delayed the crowning of the champions and the play-offs.
According to Mkhize, the hearing took the whole day but insists she is willing to fight if Sekhukhune wins the case.
"I apologise for arriving late. I had to run from the hearing, fighting for our cup as I believe we won on the field fairly and we (are) on top, now others want to win in the court," Mkhize said.
"Whatever happens, we are champions. If we don't win the case, the league won't start on time."
Mkhize attended the eThekwini Municipality gala dinner on Friday to celebrate the successful seasons for AmaZulu, Golden Arrows and Royal AM,
The acting CEO of the Premier Soccer League, Mato Madlala was also in attendance in her capacity as Arrows chairperson and confirmed that the judgement will be handed down on Saturday.
"I know the media wants to know the latest on the case. We don't know and we will know tomorrow," Madlala said.
