Casric Move Top, Baroka Secure Back-To-Back Wins

Sunday, 22 September 

Orbit College 0-1 Black Leopards

Black Leopards bounced back to winning ways after edging Orbit College 1-0 on Sunday afternoon at Olympia Park Stadium.

Ngwane scored the only goal of the encounter, earning maximum points for Lidoda Duvha, who moved up to fifth on the log,

Meanwhile, Orbit have dropped down to 13th position on the league standings.

Pretoria Callies 0-0 Milford

Milford climbed up to second on the log after a goalless draw against Pretoria Callies on Sunday afternoon at TUT Stadium.

Milford, yet to concede in four matches, extended their unbeaten run and a point was enough to see them occupy second spot on the table, just a point behind leaders Casric Stars.

Callies, meanwhile, slipped down to 12th on the table.

Saturday, 21 September

Baroka 1-0 Kruger United

Baroka won back-to-back matches for the first time after edging Kruger United 1-0 on Saturday afternoon at Global Stadium.

Tshepo Mashiloane broke the deadlock for Baroka midway into the first stanza and that was enough to give them their second win on the bounce.

The Limpopo outfit moved up to sixth on the log with seven points and United slipped down to 11th.

JDR Stars 0-2 Casric Stars

Casric Stars climbed up to the top of the table after a 2-0 win over JDR Stars on Saturday afternoon at Giant Stadium.

Malesela Chokoe got the breakthrough for Casric just before the half-hour mark and Tlhalefang Kgabane secured the three points for the visitors with the second goal three minutes before time.

The win took Casric to the top of the log by a point and JDR dropped down to seventh.

Upington City 0-0 University of Pretoria

University of Pretoria dropped points for the second successive game after a goalless draw against Upington City on Saturday afternoon Mxolisi Dicky Jacobs Stadium.

AmaTuks dropped down to the bottom half of the log, in ninth place and Upington slipped down to fourth on the table, two points off the top.

Venda Football Academy 0-1 Leruma United

Leruma United got their first victory and points after a narrow 1-0 win over Venda Football Academy on Saturday afternoon at Thohoyandou Stadium.

The win took Leruma off the relegation zone and up to 14th and Venda dropped down to the basement, with only one point.

Friday, 20 September

Durban City 1-1 Highbury

Durban City dropped down from the top of the table after they were held to a 1-1 draw by Highbury on Friday evening at Chatsworth Stadium.

Zondi gave City an early lead with a header from a corner but Highbury got the equaliser before half-time.

The Team of Choice dropped down to third on the log, just one point shy of leaders Casric Stars and a point moved the Eastern Cape side off the foot of the table, up to 15th - with two points.
