University of Pretoria will have a chance to boost their promotion hopes when they host Cape Town All Stars on Wednesday afternoon.
Teams: University of Pretoria v Cape Town All Stars
Date: 08 June 2022
Venue: ABSA Tuks Stadium
Time: 15h00
AmaTuks maintained their unbeaten run in the play-offs after playing to a goalless draw against Swallows over the weekend.
The stalemate with the Birds kept the Tshwane side at the top of the mini-log with four points, although they are only ahead of Dylan Kerr's charges by virtue of a slightly better goal difference.
Tlisane Motaung's men will be looking to go three points clear in the mini-log, a result which would also effectively eliminate Cape Town All Stars and put pressure on Swallows.
On the other hand, a draw between AmaTuks and Swallows gave Igugu Lekapa a lifeline after they lost their opening two games.
Allan Freese's troops need to win to keep their promotion hopes alive ahead of their last match against the Birds, as anything less than that would end their road.
