AmaTuks opened their campaign with a resounding 3-1 win over fellow GladAfrica Championship side Cape Town All Stars last weekend.
Tlisane Motaung's charges are leading the mini-log with a slightly better goal difference over Swallows, as both sides are equal on three points and the winner of the tie could get an early advantage.
The Birds almost dropped points in their opener against All Stars but came from behind to win 2-1 thanks to a late equaliser by Mbulelo Wambi and a stoppage-time winner by Joseph Mhlongo.
A draw will give Igugu Lekapa a lifeline in the three-team mini-tournament, after they lost their opening two games.
The last time the sides met was in the 2019/20 season in the second tier, where AmaTuks completed a double over Swallows, although the Soweto outfit gained automatic promotion after they were crowned inaugural GladAfrica Championship winners in that campaign.
