Sekhukhune will be well rested after busy opening fixture list as they were not involved in the MTN8 action over the weekend.
Royal AM, meanwhile, stumbled at the first hurdle in their MTN8 debut after going down 1-0 to Orlando Pirates at Chatsworth Stadium.
The loss in the MTN8 did come as a setback especially after they returned to winning ways in the league with victory over KwaZulu-Natal rivals Maritzburg United.
This will be the third meeting between the two sides, with both Sekhukhune and Royal AM picking up a win last campaign.
