Golden Arrows will be eyeing a top eight spot when they take on AmaZulu in their final DStv Premiership clash of the season this afternoon.
Teams: AmaZulu v Golden Arrows
Date: 24 May 2022
Venue: Moses Mabhida Stadium
Time: 15h00
The initial match between the sides was abandoned on Saturday with 15 minutes remaining due to inclement weather, with the sides having scored a goal apiece in the first stanza.
AmaZulu had conceded for the first time under interim coach Brandon Truter in that game and since the match will restart from scratch, Usuthu will look to keep that record intact.
Truter's charges sit sixth on the log, just one point ahead of seventh-placed Orlando Pirates, who have three games in hand and that's the highest position they can attain depending on Pirates' last matches.
AmaZulu can only drop to seventh on the log if they are leapfrogged by Pirates in their games in hand and are guaranteed a top eight spot.
Arrows, on the other hand, will be searching for their first win in four matches and are placed ninth on the log, equal on points with eighth-placed SuperSport United.
Abafana Bes'thende need a positive result and will hope SuperSport, who have a superior goal difference, at least don't match it in their final game against the Buccaneers next Monday to qualify for the top eight.
