Absa Premiership
Teams: Stellenbosch v Black Leopards
Date: 21 September 2019
Venue: Athlone Stadium
Stellenbosch will be hoping to end their pursuit of a first Absa Premiership win when they host Black Leopards this afternoon.
The second tier champions have managed to be competitive in their opening five games, but are yet to register three points.
In their last league outing, Stellenbosch were leading Bloemfontein Celtic 1-0 through Waseem Isaacs' strike before the Free State State outfit hit-back with two quick goals.
Steve Barker's troops currently sit second-from-bottom in the league standings with two points to their name, but they could move as high as 11th with a win.
Leopards, meanwhile, will be out to claim three points themselves after suffering defeat to local rivals Baroka FC last weekend.
The defeat also signalled the end for head coach Lionel Soccoia and his technical team after just five games.
Leopards can take comfort in the fact that their only win of the season came on the road against Maritzburg United before the FIFA break. View The PSL Results:Here's how they line up:
