The Brazilians are enduring a slow start to the defence of their league title after two successive draws to Chippa United and Cape Town City, although in between those draws, they managed to beat Celtic 3-1 in the MTN8 quarter-finals.   However, Pitso Mosimane's charges showed their mettle in the CAF Champions League preliminary round after coming back from 2-1 down in the first-leg against Congolese side AS Otoho d'Oyo to win 5-2 on aggregate following a comprehensive 4-0 victory in the second-leg tie this past Saturday.   Meanwhile, Siwelele are blowing hot and cold so far, as after thrashing Golden Arrows 5-0 on 11 August, they went on lose 3-1 to the Brazilians in the MTN8 quarter-finals a week later.   Lehlohonolo Seema's troops were back in league action this past Sunday but they drew blanks, as they were frustrated in a goalless stalemate by Baroka FC.   The Free State based side are currently lying ninth on the table, with four points from three matches.
