An insider at Marumo Gallants has spoken out on Romain Folz as the club is still coming to terms with the recent exit of the French coach.
Folz is currently assessing his options in Mzansi and abroad after he recently vacated his position at Gallants though indications are that the Limpopo outfit is keen on mending the relationship with the tactician to possibly bring him back.

A senior player at Gallants, who spoke to the Siya crew on condition of anonymity, says the team enjoyed working with the mentor and were benefitting from his coaching.

"Having worked with him, he is a fantastic coach, and he is a highly tactical coach. He is charismatic in terms of getting a player's character out. He is meticulous in terms of planning his training sessions and we enjoyed working with him," said the player.
"He is a well organised coach, and he gets the best out of the players. He is a highly recommended coach, and you learn a lot from him at training every day. He always had something new to teach the players at training and that worked for us. He was rotating the team, and everyone was competitive under him, and he was a straightforward coach for us and was honest. Under him, you perform, you play," he said.
