Abram Sello has been elevated to the role of president at Marumo Gallants, and when speaking to Soccer Laduma he hinted that the club could have a new chairman, someone else to run the club on a more hands on basis.
Gallants officially addressed the media for the first time on Monday morning after buying Moroka Swallows and there were some announcements that they made, including Sello's new position as president and not chairman.

The club also confirmed that they would be based in the Free State and play their matches in the province, with Dylan Kerr leading them as head coach for the coming campaign.
Sello did not want to give too much away in terms of his role, but hinted that they could unveil a chairman when they have another media briefing in the Free State closer to the start of the 2024/25 season.
"The company bought the status and they called it Marumo Gallants. Then they decide who they rope. You have the CEOs, the coaches, technical director and president. It's up to the company to decide. I have to get a mandate and they say I do 'one, two, three, four'. I can't do all of them," Sello told the Siya crew.

"I can't say to you I'll do a chairman's job. I'll be doing the president's job and that's according to the mandate of my company. They will have proper structures. There are many more portfolios and you will see them when we do the launch in the Free State. Maybe you will be surprised to see the chairman there as well," he hinted.
