Rulani Mokwena, head coach of Mamelodi Sundowns, is among the latest PSL awards winners as confirmed by the league.
Mokwena has won the DStv Premiership Coach of the Month award for February/March, while the DStv Premiership Player of the Month gong for the same period went to Iqraam Rayners from Stellenbosch FC.

"Rulani Mokwena has claimed the February/March DStv Premiership Coach of the Month award after guiding Mamelodi Sundowns through the month unbeaten, while Iqraam Rayners marked his return to Stellenbosch FC from Gauteng by becoming the first player at the club to win the DStv Premiership Player of the Month for the same period," confirmed the PSL in their statement.
"Mokwena wins the accolade for the second time in succession this season after leading his side to two victories and a draw in three DStv Premiership matches, as Sundowns continued to stretch their lead atop the league standings. The Brazilians kicked off the period with a 1-0 away win over Orlando Pirates, and followed that up by another success, a 5-1 thumping at home over Royal AM then played to a 1-1 draw away at Stellenbosch FC," stated the league.
Mokwena beat Stellenbosch FC coach Steve Barker and SuperSport United's Gavin Hunt to the award, as confirmed by the league.
Meanwhile, Rayners produced five goals in four games during February/March to help his team to climb up the league table.
Other candidates for the Player of the Month award for this period included Monnapule Saleng of Orlando Pirates and Sundowns' forward Cassius Mailula, as stated by the PSL.
Mokwena and Rayners will each receive a trophy and R7, 000 in cash courtesy of the league's sponsors, DStv.

The Player and Coach of the Month for August went to Melusi Buthelezi (TS Galaxy) and José Riveiro (Orlando Pirates), while for September/October Salim Magoola (Richards Bay F.C.) and Gavin Hunt (SuperSport United) won.
The recipients for the accolades for December/January are Ronwen Williams (Mamelodi Sundowns) and his coach in Mokwena.
