Agent Mike Makaab has revealed that a move outside the country remains a possibility for former Mamelodi Sundowns coach Manqoba Mngqithi.
Mngqithi was let go as head coach of Sundowns last week and was immediately replaced by former Esperance mentor Miguel Cardoso, who got his tenure off to a good start with a 1-0 victory over Raja Casablanca in the CAF Champions League.

Despite being linked to his former club Golden Arrows recently, it appears Mngqithi will take time to think about his next move, and the door is not closed for a move outside the country.
There's a growing list of South African coaches who are making a name for themselves abroad and Mngqithi would be open to testing himself on foreign land.
Speaking to the Siya crew, Makaab revealed what's important to Mngqithi regarding a move outside the borders of South Africa.
"If it's the right opportunity, definitely. Whenever you speak to coach Manqoba, it's about projects for him. He is serious about these things. I mean he was at Sundowns for 11 years. There were oppotunities while he was at Sundowns to move on, but he never quite felt that his time at the club was finished and I admire him for that," Makaab said.

It's an important life decision. It's always important that the project must be of interest to the coach."
