Mamelodi Sundowns coach Miguel Cardoso has a big decision to make on a key midfielder who is currently just one booking away from suspension, as they prepare to face Kaizer Chiefs this weekend.
Sundowns travel to Polokwane to take on Sekhukhune United in a Betway Premiership encounter at Old Peter Mokaba Stadium and, with Amakhosi coming up this weekend, there are players who are on a tight rope.

Marcelo Allende has been playing some of his best football over the last few weeks and he sits on three yellow cards going into the clash against Babina Noko. The Chilean midfielder has played in every single Premiership match in 2025, but may have to sit out for the first time in the league this year to avoid the risk of being suspended this weekend against Amakhosi.
He's shown how important he is to the side, especially in the last two league matches with a goal and an assist as Sundowns scored seven goals.
Asekho Tiwani, who got an opportunity to play against TS Galaxy over the weekend, is also sitting on three yellow cards. What makes things challenging for Cardoso is that another left back, Aubrey Modiba, is on three yellow cards. Cardoso could risk playing Tiwani, so that he has Modiba available over the weekend.
