Mamelodi Sundowns have won six PSL titles in a row and they were the last South African team to win the CAF Champions League title (in 2016).
Former Brazilians striker Kenny Niemach has attributed this incredible success by the Chloorkop side to their long term plan, vision and ambition.

In a one on one interview with Soccer Laduma, Niemach believes that Sundowns never strayed away from their style and culture.
"They have not lost their culture. They didn't move away from their style. They have looked at the longevity of the way they play and continued with that," Niemach told Soccer Laduma.
"The other important thing is their long term plan, vision and ambition to continue playing the way they always did. That has helped the club maintain form," Niemach added.
He was quick to add that Sundowns continued from where legendary PSL coach Ted Dumitru left off with their youth structures.
"They carried through the plan that you can't buy all the players. You have to bring up the players from development who understand the team's culture and also use local coaches who understand those players as well as the culture.
"Hence you have seen Sundowns playing the same style whether locally or even when they compete in Africa," he added.
Niemach believes that the Patrice Motsepe factor has also played a part in Sundowns' dominance.
"The pay structures by Patrice Motsepe has also played an important part. He has taken the team two to three levels up and that's great motivation to the players.
"Even during our time we fought with pride knowing that you are playing for Sundowns. And now it's even better than it was in our days. That has put Sundowns above the rest of the teams and that's why they are performing like that," Niemach concluded.
