After parting ways with Kaizer Chiefs during the off-season and training with SuperSport United, Sifiso Hlanti appears to be on the brink of securing a new club.
With interest from AmaZulu FC and Golden Arrows, the former Bafana Bafana defender might soon find himself donning the colours of a new team.

Sources suggest that newly-promoted Premiership side Magesi FC is understood to have shown a keen interest in the 34-year-old.
Indications are that Magesi are eager to bolster their squad with the veteran and sees Hlanti as a valuable addition.
"He has been staying in KZN, with both Golden Arrows and AmaZulu keeping an eye on him, but nothing materialized from the interest. Magesi FC made inquiries, and they seem genuinely interested. Despite not having a pre-season with any team, his experience as a defender makes him a strong candidate to fit in seamlessly if signed. The team is definitely interested in him," a source revealed to the Siya crew.

With Hlanti currently a free agent, he is not bound by the transfer window.
"They are in need of his experience. They have already added a few seasoned players like defender Limbikani Mzava, and Hlanti would be a perfect fit. Being a free agent, they have the luxury to monitor him closely before making a final decision. The chances of him joining Magesi are high, even if it happens after the transfer window closes, as they can sign him at any time. They want him and believe in his capabilities," the source added.
When contacted, Hlanti's representative, Sizwe Ntshangase, neither confirmed nor denied the interest from Magesi.
"I can't comment on that at the moment because I haven't received any updates. The last time I spoke to him, he was at home in KZN," Ntshangase told the Siya crew.
Attempts to reach Magesi coach Clinton Larsen were unsuccessful.
