Kaizer Chiefs head coach Molefi Ntseki has opened up on what the club was looking for when they sent scouts to Venezuela to watch Edson Castillo and explained why there's still more to come from the South American.
Rumours of Chiefs having an interest in signing Castillo emerged last season and the Venezuelan was eventually officially brought on board in the off-season, as one of their seven new signings.

Castillo already has Amakhosi fans excited about his quality in just three matches and endeared himself more to the Glamour Boys supporters after scoring the winner in the 2-1 victory over Cape Town City in the MTN8 quarter-final on Sunday.
Ntseki stated that when they sent scouts to Venezuela, they were looking for someone with authority and confidence on the ball in midfield and explained that Castillo is still adjusting to his new environment and there's more to come from him.
"We had scouts going to Venezuela to watch him play and we saw a player that we need at the club because we needed someone with authority, someone with confidence on the ball," Ntseki said in the press conference.
"And someone with a little bit of intelligence in dealing with the situation and I think he's bringing that to the team but. By the way, it's only his third game in South Africa and there's still more to come from him because he appears to be a very intelligent midfielder.
"So in terms of the pace, he still has to adjust to weather conditions in South Africa and also understanding of the type of opponents we play against and also the type of players that always play around him," he said.
"I think in terms of tactical understanding and cohesion, we still have a long way to go to be a solid team," he added.
