Kaizer Chiefs head coach Arthur Zwane has revealed one area they were not satisfied with that "let them down" throughout the season.
Amakhosi ended their DStv Premiership season in fifth place on the table after a narrow 1-0 defeat to Cape Town City, who leapfrogged them into fourth spot, in the final game of the campaign.

With Amakhosi's season done and dusted, Zwane reflected on what let them down the most and lamented their defensive issues, especially on the left side of defence, where Zitha Kwinika was eventually dropped.
"Coming to Zitha (Kwinika), unfortunately as you have seen, you look at all the goals that we have conceded this season, the entire defence let us down, they let themselves down, they let the team down," Zwane said in a press conference after the defeat to City.
"Hence we started now changing, this time it was (Edmilson) Dove...Dove is a left-back but because we wanted that balance of play, we wanted someone who can also help with the organisation.
"So at one point we were one-dimensional when we were building up from the back with Zitha because he's right-footed, playing on the left. So, the opposition, whenever we were building up they could channel us to one direction and trap us there," he said.
The Amakhosi legend went on and conceded that even though they played Edmilson Dove, a left-footed defender as a left-sided centre-back, they still had issues because the Mozambican was not their first choice and they settled for him after they could not get their target.
"And that's how actually we conceded some of the goals early in the season and when we thought we got better when we got Dove, while we were looking for a left centre-back, we couldn't get at that time, to come and help, we had to say 'okay, let's come up with a plan, let's move Dove here' because he's got the quality," he explained.
"In terms of that balance, we had challenges, yes, Zitha. You look at the goals that we conceded, individual errors only. Possibly 80 percent of those goals were a giveaway.
"And not only Zitha, even when Dove was playing he also had a fair share. Siya (Siyabonga Ngezana), early in the season, Mapholoba (Njabulo Ngcobo) as well, early in the season, so it has always been that challenge," he added.
Chiefs signed Thatayaone Ditlhokwe, a left-footed centre-back, from SuperSport United in January on a pre-contract and the Botswana captain will officially join the Glamour Boys on July 1.
Amakhosi have also reportedly signed Given Msimango from TS Galaxy, as they look to address their defensive "challenges" for next season.
