Parker Suggests A Coach That Can Emulate Ted Dumitru At Chiefs

Parker Suggests A Coach That Can Emulate Ted Dumitru At Chiefs

After Kaizer Chiefs head coach Nasreddine Nabi rejected a coaching offer from Tunisia national team, Bernard Parker has reiterated a coach that can be perfect for Amakhosi.

Nabi being courted by his home country could make the Amakhosi management uneasy, even though Nabi revealed that he felt it's an honour to coach the Soweto giants.

The Glamour Boys' technical team and plans were affected before the season even began, after Fernando Da Cruz, who was appointed as the assistant coach, was released from his contract after he accepted a job offer from the Moroccan Football Federation.

Chiefs eventually found a replacement after roping in Cedric Kaze, who had worked with Nabi at Young Africans.Should Chiefs lose the Tunisian coach, former striker Parker believes Sead Ramovic would get Amakhosi "flying".

"I still believe and I can say that if Ramovic got that Kaizer Chiefs gig, the team would be flying by now!" Parker said on Izinja zeGame podcast with Josta Dladla.

"That person (Ramovic) does not lower his standards, he does not take any mediocrity. His training sessions are so intensely designed, that intensity comes out in our games.

"The Bafana Bafana legend went on and suggested the Serb-German's coaching methods reminds him of the late Ted Dumitru.

"That's why you saw Galaxy, a season and a season before how we played in terms of intensity? We just keep on running and mind you, we don't run at training. Everything is ball work, it takes me back to coach Ted Dumitru, everything ball work but high intensity. That's why we got to sell five plus players every year to top teams, because he can get any player to his best," Parker added.

Ramovic was recently appointed head coach at CR Belouizdad after he left Young Africans.
