On Monday, Chiefs, for the sixth time in five years left the football fraternity in shock as they announced multiple changes to the club's technical team.
Head coach Ntseki, was replaced by the experienced Cavin Johnson on an interim basis, while Arthur Zwane who served as head coach was redeployed to the club's development. Dillon Sheppard remains in his position as the club's assistant coach. One staff member that was made no mention of is goalkeeper coach Aubrey Mathibe.
Mathibe was announced as the club's goalkeeper coach in April last year and formed part of both Zwane and Ntseki's technical teams.
The Siya crew understands that the former Chiefs keeper's position is in limbo as it is unclear whether he would be retained in his position or not. Siya sources have informed the crew that the possibility of the Kroonstad-born man leaving the club cannot be ruled out at this stage.
