With Kaizer Chiefs expected to make an announcement on the future of Erick Mathoho and several other players, sources have hinted at what can be expected regarding the veteran defender.
After over a decade with the Soweto giants and having seen players and coaches come and go, Mathoho is likely to leave Naturena, according to well-placed sources.

The defender will see his contract with Amakhosi come to an end in June.
The 33-year-old centre-back, who is heading for 11 years with the club at the end of the season, is unlikely to get a new deal, according to sources.
The Tshiombo-born player joined Chiefs in 2012 from Bloemfontein Celtic, and having been a regular in the team and for Bafana Bafana over the years, the defender has struggled for game-time this season under Arthur Zwane.
Mathoho has made only one appearance as a last minute substitute against SuperSport United in September during Chiefs' stuttering Premiership campaign and indications are that the club has since made the decision on his future.
"Mathoho is as good as gone at Chiefs. It is just a matter of the club making an official announcement," said the source.

"His contract won't be renewed and he knows that already as he has been informed. But the good thing for him is that he won't be short of offers. There are clubs that are already showing interest in him and TS Galaxy is one of the frontrunners to sign him," the source said.
