As players, Dolly and his teammates have had to deal first with the disappointment of elimination from the Carling Knockout at the hands of AmaZulu and then later with the change of coaches.
Molefi Ntseki was replaced by Cavin Johnson, while Arthur Zwane has been redeployed to the club's development.
Despite the challenges faced by the club, Dolly and his teammates have to look forward to the upcoming match against high-flying Golden Arrows.
"Obviously we are disappointed from our last game and not qualifying for the next round of the Carling Cup, but I think this is an important weekend for us. We have to come back and not dwell on the past. If we can win this weekend, we can change our mindset and start winning," Dolly told the club's website.
"It has been a tough week for the Club. For us as players, we have to do our job, which is to win, to get results for the club, and for ourselves to build confidence for the rest of the season. I feel there is still a long way to go, and that's why I think this weekend is very important because a win can give us momentum for the remainder of the season."
Arrows will prove to be a stern test for Amakhosi, given their inspired start to the campaign; however, Dolly is confident his side can overcome the KZN-based outfit.
"They are confident at the moment. I'm sure they will be thinking we are down and out going into this game but I feel it is for us to show them that we are Kaizer Chiefs and prove to them what we are made of. We will go there with the mindset of getting nothing less than the three points, and I believe we have the capability to do that," he says, adding, "However, we will not underestimate them, we know we will have to work hard, but we are prepared to do what it takes," he concluded.
