As previously reported by the Siya crew, Njabulo Ngcobo faces an uncertain future at Naturena.
With the signing of two new central defenders in Gavin Msimango and Thatayaone Ditlhokwe from TS Galaxy and SuperSport United respectively, Chiefs look to have enough ammunition at the back, with indications that Ngcobo could be headed out the door.

The defender has not seen much action since joining the team from Swallows FC in 2021.
Sources have revealed to the Siya crew that the 28-year-old former Defender of the Season is understood to have fallen out of favour with the technical team.
"Its true, he plays some games here and there but it's not what he wants as a player. He would love to play more games and that's why the team wants to loan him out," a source indicated to the Siya crew.
"You should remember that he still has a year on his contract and he can't go cheap if they are to sell him and they may as well need him in the future, that's why they just want to loan him. They can easily recall him if need be. There are teams interested in his services already right now but it's up to Chiefs to reach an agreement with the player first and a team that he also would want to join and be happy. But yes, there is a loan possibility for him at the moment," the source said.
As previously reported, the defender has become a fringe player in two seasons, making only nine appearances in all competitions and it is understood that he is not in the plans of Arthur Zwane beyond the current season.
"Now, there are about four teams that are all showing interest in signing him on loan. Swallows want to bring him back but there is also SuperSport United, Richards Bay United and AmaZulu FC. All these teams have shown interest in the player and it will now depend on their talks with Chiefs. But the player has also expressed the wish to move away and have some game-time as he feels he is not appreciated enough at Chiefs," the source added.
Efforts to contact Chiefs for comment proved futile.
