Former Kaizer Chiefs coach Arthur Zwane has heaped praise on his successor, Nasreddine Nabi, following a hard-fought 2-2 draw between AmaZulu and Chiefs at FNB Stadium on Tuesday night.
Zwane, who now leads AmaZulu alongside co-coach Vusumuzi Vilakazi, shared his thoughts on the match, acknowledging the tactical difficulties his side faced against Chiefs. He emphasized the importance of frustrating the home team, noting that disrupting their rhythm was key to stifling their attacking play.
"The best thing you could do when you play against Kaizer Chiefs, especially at home, is to frustrate them because you don't want them to gain the momentum," Zwane told the media after the match.

Despite the challenging conditions, Zwane was quick to commend Nabi for his efforts in shaping the Amakhosi team, which displayed effective passing patterns throughout the game. He expressed confidence in the work that Nabi is doing with the squad.
"I must say they have passing patterns, and I think coach Nabi is cooking something great for the team. They made our life difficult, but I must commend the players, you know, at that moment, they kept fighting, making sure that we don't concede the second goal," Zwane continued.
The match itself proved to be a highly competitive encounter, with both teams playing with intensity and determination. Despite their valiant effort, AmaZulu was forced to settle for a draw after an equaliser from Chiefs.
