The timing of Vilakazi's resignation raises eyebrows, so early in the season as it could mean he has secured his future elsewhere.

Cape Town Spurs have had a poor start to their return to the top flight after losing all their five games so far and are the only team without points at the bottom of the table.

It could be an option if Vilakazi is added to the coaching staff at Spurs to assist Shaun Bartlett, who has previously coached Arrows.

Richards Bay are another team that is struggling in the early stages of the season after picking up only two points from five matches and a move across to the KwaZulu-Natal rivals cannot be ruled out.
