The story
Rulani Mokwena seems to be settling in well to life in Casablanca with Wydad Athletic Club — cutting a cheerful figure in training videos and when interacting with the club's supporters.
Rulani was appointed as the new Wydad coach last month after his shock departure from Masandawana, seeing the 37-year-old recruited four South Africans to form part of his technical team at Wydad ahead of the new season.
The likes of Alan Freese [technical director], Sinethemba Badela [assistant coach], Sibusiso Makitla [analyst], and Sibusiso Mahlangu [fitness trainer] form part of Rulani's new coaching staff, with the DStv Prem Coach of the Season signaling a positive start to life in Morocco.
Along with his coaching staff being confirmed, the four-time league-winning coach has seemingly revealed a new nickname of Arabic origin, 'Achraf', which means "most distinguished" or "most honorable."
