The story
Sundowns triumphed 4-2 over Sekhukhune United at the Old Peter Mokaba Stadium on Wednesday night, extending their lead at the top of the Betway Premiership to 15 points, a result that quickly gained attention on social media.
The Brazilians' 17th win in 19 league matches this season came courtesy of goals from Thapelo Morena, Lucas Suarez, Lucas Ribeiro, and Arthur Sales.
Orlando Pirates, the closest challengers, now have at least four games in hand, but with each victory Sundowns secure, an eighth consecutive PSL title seems increasingly inevitable.
This February alone, Miguel Cardoso's men have been in rampant form, scoring 22 goals in seven league encounters, including a statement 4-1 win over title rivals, Pirates.
Here's how fans online reacted to Sundowns' big win over Babina Noko:

The strategy to fatigue Mamelodi Sundowns through congestion of fixtures failed many years ago.Instead of making Sundowns weak it actually made it more stronger. Here's Coach Pitso questioning it ?? pic.twitter.com/4vElvTGoZK

Crazy to think Mamelodi Sundowns will go 4 games ahead of pirates but they're both play in the same league, CAF and Nedbank tournaments. You will swear pirates is behind because they're the only once playing CAF or something but nooo they are resting waiting. pic.twitter.com/ddbwIKG244

As Mamelodi Sundowns supporter, we have this unspoken privilege of witnessing assists that are more beautiful than the goals we score, Jayden Adams assist to Thapelo Morena was a peach of a technique. ????

I gotta agree this Mamelodi Sundowns team is more dangerous that Rhulani one, yeah they don't play that position play football but one thing is for sure they know where the goal posts are and are very generous with goals ask Kaizer Chiefs and Orlando Pirates they know ??
