The story
19-year-old winger, Shandre Campbell was named in Club Brugge's squad for their UEFA Champions League (UCL) match against Aston Villa on Tuesday night.
After the game, Campbell was pictured with former Manchester United attacker Marcus Rashford, who started on the left wing for Unai Emery's charges on the night.
The SuperSport United academy product remained an unused substitute as the home side suffered a 3-1 defeat to the Premier League side, with the Belgians conceding a late own goal and a penalty.
Although Campbell wasn't part of the squad for the previous match against Atalanta, being included on the bench for the first leg against Villa, following his recent promotion to the first team, marks significant progress for the South African youth international.
"Dream come true," wrote Campbell in the caption of his Instagram post, where he shared a gallery of snaps from his first UCL matchday for Brugge, including his selfie with Rashford and his jersey in the changeroom.
