The story
Nasreddine Nabi seems to still be riding the wave of Kaizer Chiefs' comeback victory over Mamelodi Sundowns on Sunday.
In a video doing the rounds on the Twitter/X timeline, Nabi is spotted roaming what appears to be the streets of Sandton, where he bumped into a group of excited supporters.
Nabi, who joined the Glamour Boys at the beginning of the 2024/25 season, has endured an inconsistent start to life in the PSL, winning just 11 out of his 28 matches so far.
Despite his side's struggles in the league, where they find themselves in eighth, they have a glorious opportunity to break their decade-long trophy drought in the Nedbank Cup final in Durban, 10 May.
With Nabi already a popular figure among the Khosi Nation, a trophy this season could instantly take him to legendary status, and he might not be able to roam the streets alone if Amakhosi manage to pip their Soweto rivals, Orlando Pirates, to the Nedbank Cup crown next month.
