The story
37-year-old former Kaizer Chiefs, Orlando Pirates and AmaZulu striker, Lehlohonolo Majoro got candid about his day-to-day life as a dad and what he plans to do in the near future.
Majoro may only have made his professional debut at 24 but has amassed 91 goals in the PSL, placing him seventh on the all-time top goal scorer charts.
Despite being without a club, Majoro has remained steadfast in pursuing his coaching badges and has successfully completed the CAF C coaching license.
"Major" who is currently a free agent, appeared as one of the guests on Marawa Sports Worldwide on Wednesday, detailing his daily routine of dropping his children off at school and fetching them afterwards:
"I've been in Jo'burg for a year now, ever since my contract ended with AmaZulu last year, May. I'm now with my family, I'm the guy that wakes up in the morning to drop the kids at school. As they always say, you go and hustle and when it's time go and fetch the kids, you go and do that," mentioned the MTN8 ambassador to Marawa.
When asked about how he parted ways with AmaZulu, Major answered: "I had two seasons with AmaZulu, towards the end of my contract, it wasn't renewed. But, I did have a word with the President, of which there's still something to come. He indicated that he wants me to be part and parcel of the technical team. That is something that will come when the chairman is ready," revealed the seasoned goal scorer.
Majoro has also addressed rumours about his retirement from football, hinting that when he's ready to make the announcement, he might want to do with on Marawa's show.
