The story
A passionate Leeds United supporter took to Twitter/X to reveal that he's named his offspring after Lucas Radebe, who still enjoys cult status at the English club.
Radebe, who was known as 'The Chief' by Leeds fans, made 256 appearances for the Yorkshire outfit from 1994 to 2005.
"@LucasRadebe named my first baby boy Lucas, born 10th August 2024. He's a Big Leeds fan already. What's the chances of a retweet for the little man? Cheers Chief!" wrote Leeds fan, Gary Donaldson to his hero, Rhoo.
"Wow. Congratulations Gary. Welcome Lucas to the land of plenty. May God bless him to realise his talent," replied Radebe in a quote Tweet response, much to the delight on X users, with both the original post and Radebe's reply going viral.

This is incredible. The man who named his son after you was probably just a boy the last time you kicked a ball for Leeds United. Legendary.
