The story
After completing a blockbuster move to Aston Villa, 22-year-old, Belgian midfielder Amadou Onana is entering the world of music after releasing his first song.
Onana joined the Villans for a club record £50million (R1.1 billion) fee from the Toffees earlier this month, and after turning heads in the 2023/24 season for both club and country, the baller is ready to fulfill his artistic side quests.
The former LOSC Lille man stunned the football world when a video of him singing went viral, prompting him to jump into the studio with his ex-Everton teammate, Alex Iwobi, to make hip-hop track that wasn't officially released.
Onana's track, titled "Check On Me" is released under his artist name '24AM,' a combination of his squad number at Villa and the first two letters of his surname.
The multilingual baller switches between English and French on his debut single, rapping in French and doing the hook in English.
