The story
Bafana Bafana forward, Khanyisa Mayo has finalized a transfer to Algerian powerhouse CR Belouizdad (CRB) ahead of the upcoming season.
The 25-year-old has been a standout player for Cape Town City since joining from Richards Bay in 2021, bagging 29 goals in 93 appearances.
His exceptional performances saw him share the 2022/23 Lesley Manyathela Golden Boot award with Peter Shalulile, earning him call-ups to Hugo Broos' Bafana Bafana squads, where he has made four appearances to date.
In Mayo's first interview as CRB player, he confidently laid down what the fans can expect from him on the pitch, stating: "They must expect Khanyisa Mayo, a goal-scoring machine, someone who's gonna work, someone who's gonna be loved, someone who's going to love the family, someone who's going to be exciting to watch, each and every game."
