Orlando Pirates 2-3 Platinum Stars Platinum Stars began the second half of the MultiChoice Diski Challenge campaign with a thrilling 3-2 win over Orlando Pirates. Siphiwe Mnguni handed Dikwena the lead after nine minutes with a towering header, before Lebogang Sentsho's half-volley leveled matters in the 24th minute. Stars then restored their lead through Ruele Modise after a mix-up in the Pirates defence. However, Mokasi clinched the equaliser in the 81st minute with a stunning effort from 25-yards out. However, Dikwena secured the win in the 90th minute as Modise controlled well, before firing into the bottom corner to seal the win and his complete his brace. Ajax Cape Town 1-0 Free State Stars Ajax Cape Town bagged their second straight MDC victory, after they squeezed a 1-0 win over Free State Stars at Ikamva on Saturday morning. The only goal arrived five minutes into the second half, courtesy of a strike from Masilake Pholongo. Polokwane City 3-2 Mpumalanga Black Aces Mpumalanga Black Aces' poor run in the campaign continued, after they went down 3-2 at the hands of Polokwane City. Ramabu Tshegofatso and Ngidi Muzikayifani handed Polokwane a two-goal lead, before Charlton Basson reduced the deficit for Aces. William Baloyi sealed the win for Rise and Shine, while Aces managed another consolation through Cebo Meyiwa. Golden Arrows 0-0 Jomo Cosmos Golden Arrows and Jomo Cosmos were forced to settle for a point, after the two sides played out to a goalless draw at Ikamva on Saturday afternoon.
