Masuku impressed in the first edition of the MDC held last season, earning a call up to the Buccaneers first team.
The 22-year-old has since become a household name, proving his worth to the team and scoring some important goals in the process, and has only praise for the initiative for providing him with the opportunity to shine
"In my opinion, the MDC is one of the best initiatives to be undertaken by the PSL. It is a good experience and a good thing for players who are still playing in the reserves and those that are not getting enough game-time in the first team."
"Youngsters are getting an opportunity to rub shoulders with PSL players, get some game-time and have an opportunity to be seen by other teams."
"Every youngster should take these kinds of tournaments very seriously because it also provides them with an opportunity to be seen by first team coaches and the national team coaches too. The experience of playing in the MDC has changed my football career," Masuku told Soccer Laduma.
