Orlando Pirates 2-1 Mamelodi Sundowns
Orlando Pirates got back in the title hunt after a last-gasp 2-1 win over Mamelodi Sundowns on Saturday afternoon at Sugar Ray Xulu Stadium.
Thulani Zandamela broke the deadlock for Sundowns just after the half-hour mark and Mehluleli Maphumulo found the equaliser for Pirates early in the second stanza.
Mohau Nkota, who missed a one-on-one chance late on, eventually got the winner for Joseph Makhanya's charges in stoppage time after he pounced on a mistake at the back and rounded goalkeeper Sizwe Ramabulane to score into an empty net.
Pirates jumped up to second and reduced the deficit behind leaders SuperSport United to two points, with just two rounds of matches left.

Kaizer Chiefs dented Cape Town City's title chance after a 2-2 draw on Sunday afternoon at Sugar Ray Xulu Stadium.
Chiefs grabbed an early lead after Keaviano Francis got an opportunity to score into an empty net but Cee-Jay Bezuidenhout levelled matters for City 11 minutes before the break with a header from a cross by Jordan Bender.
Neo Bohloko found the back of the net for Amakhosi early in the second stanza but his goal was disallowed.
Mfundo Vilakazi restored the lead for Vela Khumalo's men in the last 19 minutes after he intercepted a back pass, rounded goalkeeper Luca Diana-Oliaro and scored into an empty net.
However, Lisakhanya Mene found the equaliser for the Citizens in the dying minutes.
Mark Mayambela's troops dropped slightly down to third on the table, three points behind leaders SuperSport United, with two games to go.
Golden Arrows 2-1 SuperSport United
Log-leaders SuperSport United missed the chance to put one hand on the trophy after a 2-1 defeat to ten-man Golden Arrows on Saturday morning at Sugar Ray Xulu Stadium.
Arrows were ahead just two minutes from the start courtesy of Mthokozisi Duma but Keenan Bezuidenhout quickly levelled matters for SuperSport 11 minutes later.
Samkelo Mzolo restored the lead for Abafana Bes'thende on 15 minutes and Bezuidenhout nearly equalised for United just after the half-hour mark but his header hit the crossbar.
Arrows were reduced to ten men early in the second stanza after Nkosinathi Thwala got a second yellow card for a bad tackle and was sent off but the KwaZulu-Natal side managed to hold on.
SuperSport's lead at the top of the table was reduced to two points, with two matches to go.

Stellenbosch scored five goals for the second consecutive game but this time kept a cleansheet against Royal AM courtesy of a hat-trick by Mervin Boji on Sunday afternoon at Idas Valley Stadium.
Stellies went to the break with only a 1-0 lead thanks to Boji and the other goals were scored in the second stanza as Boji got two to complete his hat-trick.
The other goals were scored by Qobolwakhe Sibande and Antonio Van Wyk.
Richards Bay 0-1 AmaZulu
AmaZulu won for the first time in six matches after edging Richards Bay 1-0 on Sunday morning at Sugar Ray Xulu Stadium.
Following a goalless first stanza, Tebogo Mashego came close to giving AmaZulu the lead early in the second stanza with a one-on-one chance that came off the crossbar.
AmaZulu were eventually awarded a penalty with 13 minutes left after a handball by Kwanele Msomi in the box and Richards Bay were down to ten men after Msomi was red-carded for the handball incident.
Mashego made sure from the spot-kick, as he broke the deadlock for Siyabonga Nomvethe's troops and earned them the three points.
