Kaizer Chiefs got back to winning ways after a last-gasp 2-1 win over Maritzburg United on Sunday morning at Harry Gwala Stadium.
Donay Jansen got the opener for Chiefs on 16 minutes but the visitors were pegged back three minutes later courtesy of Sithole.
Jansen eventually snatched the winner for Amakhosi in the last minute and completed his brace.
Golden Arrows 0-2 Orlando Pirates
Orlando Pirates secured their third consecutive victory after beating Golden Arrows 2-0 on Saturday morning at Princess Magogo Stadium.
Arrows put Pirates under a lot of pressure in the first stanza, as they kept their goalkeeper Allesandro Du Plessis busy, with Siyanda Mthanti also denied by the woodwork.
The Buccaneers, who had a much better good second stanza eventually broke the deadlock with eight minutes to go courtesy of Jabulani Mokone.
Surprise Matjeni sealed the deal a couple of minutes later.
AmaZulu 2-1 Mamelodi Sundowns
Mamelodi Sundowns slipped to their third defeat of the season after a 2-1 loss to in-form AmaZulu on Saturday morning at King Zwelithini Stadium.
Surprise Moriri's charges extended their winless run to four matches as a result while Usuthu won their fifth game in six matches.
SuperSport United 6-1 Sekhukhune United
SuperSport United clinched back-to-back victories with 11 goals scored after another rampant display in a 6-1 mauling of Sekhukhune United on Sunday morning at Lucas Moripe Stadium.
Shandre Campbell opened the scoring for Matsatsantsa within the first minute and that set the tone as an own goal by Lucky Ledwaba on 25 minutes and another goal by Yandisa Mfolozi gave SuperSport a 3-0 lead at half-time.
Mabena pulled a goal back for Sekhukhune early in the second stanza but Campbell restored a three-goal cushion on the hour-mark and completed his brace.
Keenan Bezuidenhout made it 5-1 for Matsatsantsa on 73 minutes as the floodgates opened and Thabang Mahlangu completed the rout a minute later.
SuperSport played the last five minutes with ten men after Boy Madingwane was red-carded.
Richards Bay 1-2 Royal AM
Royal AM bounced back to winning ways after edging Richards Bay 2-1 in the KwaZulu-Natal derby on Sunday afternoon at Mpumalanga Stadium.
AM went ahead on 18 minutes but Yanela Mbuthuma found the equaliser for the Natal Rich Boyz a minute later.
Thwihli Thwahla snatched the winner in the closing stages.

TS Galaxy finally got their first victory of the season after a narrow 1-0 win over Stellenbosch on Saturday afternoon at Sturrock Park Stadium.
After a goalless first stanza, Sanele Zulu got the all important goal for the Rockets in the second stanza, as they clinched their first victory.
