Chippa got a new lease of life under caretaker coach Morgan Mammila after they ended a four-game winless streak with a 2-1 win over AmaZulu last Saturday.
As a result, the Chilli Boys climbed above Kaizer Chiefs into 13th spot on the table with eight points.
Gallants, meanwhile have not fared any better under previous assistant coach Raymond Mdaka, who has been in charge for the past two games after the resignation of Romain Folz.
Bahlabane Ba Ntwa remain the only side without a win after they conceded late to draw 1-1 with Kaizer Chiefs last Sunday.
The Limpopo side are languishing second-from-bottom on the table with six points and could get out of the drop zone if they win and other results go their way.
Gallants edged a five-goal thriller between the sides in the corresponding fixture last term before a goalless draw in the reverse.
