Chippa United have confirmed the surprise departure of a certain first team player ahead of the second half of the season.
Zambian attacker Augustine Mulenga is now officially a free agent after the club decided to part ways with the player.

The 34-year-old joined the Chilli Boys on a free transfer before the start of the season but failed to score in his 16 DStv Premiership appearances.

Mulenga is the second player to part ways with the Chilli Boys this week after confirming the departure of Thabiso Labitso.
"Chippa United FC wishes to announce the departure of Thabiso Labitso from the team . Since joining us in 2019, Thabiso has played in 97 games, each performance echoing his commitment and love for the club.," the club announced on social media.
"As we part ways, we wish him success in all his future endeavours."
