Carling Black Label Cup hero Itumeleng Khune was full of praise for selected head coach Jose Riveiro, who guided the Carling All-Star team to victory over Stellenbosch on Saturday.

Captain on the day Khune rolled back the years as he pulled off one save after the other at the New Peter Mokaba Stadium to keep the Cape Winelands outfit at bay, which rightfully saw him walk away with the Man of the Match award.
Mfundo Vilakazi and Ashley Du Preez's goals secured victory for the All Stars, while Mervin Boji scored late on for coach Steve Barker's side.
Speaking to the media after the match, Khune provided insight into working with the Spanish coach, who under normal circumstances, would be on the bench of archrivals Orlando Pirates.
"I think the results and the performance today gives you answers of how he is as a coach. Since he's been in the country and he has won two [correction: three] cups already for his club.
"It gives you the sense that he is a great coach and the fact that his club went all the way to Spain to get him and they believe in him. Same as the fans here at home, they voted for him amongst the 16 other coaches, so it shows the quality as a coach, it shows how dedicated he is to the game and his winning mentality.
"In two days he managed to prepare us and people wrote us off. You would have given Stellenbosch a win just before the game started. But the fact that we got two early goals shows that we responded well as players and the coach and the rest of the coaching staff deserve the credit," he continued.
