Cape Town Spurs have created unwanted history with their sixth straight defeat, against Golden Arrows on Tuesday.
Spurs had hopes of getting their first points on the board after Ashley Cupido gave them the lead on 16 minutes but Lungelo Nguse levelled matters for Arrows 10 minutes from the break and snatched the winner for Abafana Bes'thende with 10 minutes remaining to give them a 2-1 victory.

The Cape Town side became only the second team in the history of the PSL to start their season with six straight defeats after Bush Bucks in 1999, according to statistician OptaJabu.
Former Chiefs coach Ernst Middendorp has been linked with a coaching post at Spurs after he resigned at Tanzanian Premier League side Singida Fountain Gate over the weekend.
Middendorp has built a reputation as a go-to coach for relegation-threatened teams after his four spells at Maritzburg United and stints at the likes of Moroka Swallows, Chippa United and Free State Stars.
The German tactician previously worked with Spurs head coach Shaun Bartlett, who was his assistant at Amakhosi in the 2019/20 season, where they almost won the league but finished second after a late collapse, that led to them being relieved of their duties.
With Spurs' current struggles, Middendorp, already back in the country, the club will have a chance to add the German to their technical team, where they could restructure their setup.
When asked to comment on the rumours linking him with the Cape Town side, the veteran coach admitted that he has been in contact with Bartlett but denied that he will join the Ikamva-based outfit.
"No, not at all, I wish Shaun Bartlett, I'm in contact, communicating with him that he will turn it around this next game (against Arrows), make the points and I'm very confident that he will make it," Middendorp said on Marawa Sports Worldwide shortly before Spurs' game against Arrows on Tuesday evening.

"And I know Alexis (Efstathiou, Spurs CEO) and so on, they have a very clear understanding, doing it together and I think they are on the right track," he said.
Even though Middendorp denied the link to Spurs, one wonders whether it's a good idea for the Cape Town side to bring him together with Bartlett at some point in future.
Spurs will have plenty of time to make a decision regarding their technical team, as they will not be in action for the next 10 days, with the MTN8 semi-final second-leg fixtures taking place over the weekend.
The Urban Warriors will be back in action next weekend, in a baptism of fire where they will lock horns with rivals Cape Town City in their local derby.
