Cape Town Spurs head coach Ernst Middendorp pulled no punches as he expressed his dissatisfaction with the level of officiating in the Motsepe Foundation Championship.
Middendorp's side find themselves in ninth position on the log standings after six matches.
The Cape-based club has managed to accumulate eight points having won two matches, drawn two and lost two more.

But the German mentor, who has never been shy with his words, took to his official LinkedIn page where he highlighted the shortcomings of match officials in a fiery statement.
"If you are 'politically not connected' as a Club in the NFD soccer industry, you have to endure the consequences," he wrote in part.
"Now I have coached 6 games in the NFD-Season 2024/25, 4 of which were away games. I strongly believe it is my duty as a professional coach with a valuable UEFA-Pro-License as well as more than 30 years of experience in the soccer industry to address the concerns about bias or inconsistency.
"Analyzing the NFD games in details we found a huge number of parameters indicating that decisions taken by referees gave one team privilege over the other. Teams have been favoured significantly, As the away team in nearly all the 4 matches (TUKS, MILFORD, DURBAN CITY, LERUMA) we suffered the consequences of the referees' actions.
"Referee decision-making influenced the course and consequently the outcome of the games. The decisions inflamed the matches, coaches got 'excited', players got frustrated. Referees' decisions destabilized the matches: I don't believe that the biased decisions have been only the result of a bad day for the referees - at this point I would like to point out that the line judges often had a decisive influence," he continued.
Middendorp has been linked with a move to AmaZulu in recent times, though Siya sources have indicated that he has turned down Usuthu's advances at this point.
