Mark Mayambela has expressed delight at his latest coaching achievement, as he secured one of the most reputable coaching licenses in the game.
The former Orlando Pirates and Bloemfontein Celtic player, who is currently working in the development structures of Cape Town City, has made it a mission to empower himself as much as possible as a coach, securing a UEFA B diploma, through the Irish Football Association, which took a year for him to complete.

It's a relief and I am happy that I did manage to finish it. I am also proud of myself. I am focusing on my self development as a coach and I am empowering myself. I am doing some other supplementary courses to help me develop as a coach and as a human being," Mayambela told the Siya crew
Mayambela revealed that he will be doing the UEFA A license in 2024, as he wants to keep growing himself in the area he is currently working in.

"This one was a full year course that is done online and it's practical. It has other components of football, which is periodisation, sports science, analysis, sports psychology. It's been insightful. It's helping me develop into a better coach. The experience when I went to Ireland was eye-opening. The interactions we have with other coaches from different worlds was really good. I am looking forward to doing my A license, which I will do in 2024."
