Lebogang 'Kaka' Manyama has been unveiled in a new role at one of his former clubs, having recently retired from professional football.
Cape Town City have confirmed that Manyama has re-joined the club in a different role as an assistant coach in Eric Tinkler's technical team.

Manyama announced his retirement from professional football in June, at the age of 32, in an emotional message shared on his social media platforms.

He has been without a club since parting ways with Kaizer Chiefs at the end of the 2021/22 season due to injury.
Speaking on joining City's technical team, Manyama told the the Mother City club's official Twitter account, "I'm delighted to join this technical team. I have so many great memories here with coach Eric, and I always said I will be back one day to add more success. This club is home to me."
