At the tender age of 16, Witbooi already has tongues wagging across the country and it is only a matter of time before we see him turning out in a City jersey in the Betway Premiership.
Witbooi, who is the son of former Cape Town City dribbling wizard Surprise Ralani, has been making massive strides in a short space of time and has already featured on the bench for City in a match against Royal AM, although he was an unused sub on the day.
"Emile is exceptionally talented," Peral told the Siya crew.
"We took him with us to our pre-season camp, where he played in the first team against other PSL sides, and he really stood out. We've had some very good youth players come through, but at his age, I think he's the most promising we've seen," he said of the midfielder.
Hailing from the Transnet School Of Excellence, Witbooi has all the attributes to become one of the PSL's standout stars, if his career continues on its current upward trajectory.
