A 10th signing has been confirmed as Cape Town City are filling the gap opened by the departure of Khanyisa Mayo in their squad after the Bafana Bafana striker made the move abroad.
As previously reported by the Siya crew, Amadou Soukouna has been a transfer target for City for some time, and is a player admired by the club's head coach Eric Tinkler.

The 32-year-old forward, whose career started in France in 2012, is making a return to Mzansi for his second spell after he previously played for Maritzburg United (now called Durban City) between 2021 to 2023.
The former French youth international spent the previous season playing in Thailand for Bangkok United.

Soukouna joins the likes of Fortune Makaringe, Kamohelo Mokotjo, Haashim Domingo, Carlinhos, Kayden Francis, Elson Sithole, Sibusiso Ziba, Lefa Aphane and Prins Tjiueza among this season's signings for the Citizens.
