Orlando Pirates winger, Tlou Segolela, has been excluded from the initial 25-man CAF Confederations Cup squad released by the club, despite his agent informing the Siya crew on Wednesday that the winger would be remaining at the club till 2016.

The Buccaneers confirmed earlier today (Thursday, January 8) the list of players that will embark on their Confed campaign in March 2015, with Segolela being the most notable exclusion.
According to the Parktown based club's official website, Pirates are still to register an additional five players to the squad and it remains to be seen whether the 26-year-old speedy winger will make the list.
'Sox' has not featured much in the league plans for Orlando Pirates, having battled to break into the first team in the 2014/15 season.

Siya sources have indicated that the Buccaneers are looking to bolster their squad, primarily in the goalkeeping and defensive structures of the team, with those players set to make up the available spaces in the Confed squad.
