Following the Siya crew reporting earlier that Orlando Pirates have not made any changes to their CAF Confederation Cup squad after yesterday's deadline (January 15) for CAF registrations, midfielder Oupa Manyisa still remains part of Bucs' Confed team despite his imminent move to current league champions, Mamelodi Sundowns.

The crew previously indicated that there could be a possibility Manyisa's deal could be finalised by Thursday afternoon before the closure of the CAF registration deadline which would allow the 26-year-old midfielder to be registered with Sundowns as part their CAF Champions League squad.
However, with the deal not being concluded before Thursday, 'Ace' remains as part of Pirates' squad which will begin competing for CAF honours in March this year.
Should Manyisa's expected move to Sundowns be hindered until June 2015 when his extension option on his contract expires, resulting in Pirates using him for their Confederation Cup matches, the playmaker would be cup-tied and won't be eligible to play for Sundowns in their Champions League ties.

Conversely, should Pirates not use him for their CAF fixtures, Manyisa could still play for the Brazilians though it would mean the Bafana Bafana international would have to wait till the 10th of August 2015 for the second period of CAF registrations to register as part of Downs' Champions League squad.
