CAF Confederations Cup Final Second Leg: Al Ahly 1-0 Sewe Sport 06 December 2014

Al Ahly defeated Sewe Sport 1-0 to clinch the CAF Confederations Cup in Egypt on Saturday night. Both sides came into the second leg tie with the Ivorian side leading 2-1 on aggregate. However the crowd at the Cairo International Stadium had to wait until the 96th minute for a goal and it was the Egyptian outfit. Minutes after being denied a penalty, Emad Meteb popped up and headed Al Ahly into the lead and ultimately sealed the trophy for his side. The Egyptians clinched the trophy on the away goals rule, after they had scored one goal in Cote d'Ivore in the first leg. Al Ahly have become only the second club to win the Confederations Cup and the CAF Champions League, and the first ever to do it in this order.
