Tsepo Masilela Taken Off As A Precaution

Kaizer Chiefs fans can breathe a sigh of relief after Stuart Baxter confirmed that Tsepo Masilela's replacement against Township Rollers was a precautionary measure. Masilela, 29, was taken off towards the end of Chiefs' 1-0 win over Rollers on Saturday afternoon after picking up a bit of a knock during the encounter. The left back had only just returned from injury and there was a worry that me may have aggravated the issue further, however Baxter insists that that was not the case. Speaking to the media after the game regarding Masilela's substitution, Baxter said, "That was me, he wanted to stay on. When I saw him go down I told him to look at the clock and we took him off. He's good, he'll be fine." The defender is expected to be fit for Chiefs' next game when they take on Ajax Cape Town on Wednesday night. Read: Baxter Pleased With Chiefs' Defence
